A street hawker is a familiar figure in towns and cities. A street hawker deals in various things by hawking from street to street./He is the vendor of various things. He moves from street to street.
He carries his things on his head, sometimes in his hands, and sometimes in a small hand cart. He conveys his materials on his head and, in some cases, close by and sometimes in a little wheelbarrow.
He, by and large, purchases his merchandise at a less expensive rate and sells them at a decent benefit. A road peddler is exceptionally crafty. He is a clever fellow who knows his business.
He sells toys, bangles, ribbons, clothing, sweets, fruits, utensils, newspapers, fancy goods, and domestic use by bringing them to people’s doors./
He knows his business well, indeed. His clients are kids and ladies. He brings toys, desserts, and different things for kids and sells them at a decent cost at a decent rate.
He likewise brings bangles, strips, clothing, organic products, utensils, extravagant merchandise, and things of homegrown purposes for ladies.
He talks in various ways to draw the consideration of his clients. A seller likewise knows the time/hour of his business. He doesn’t come when housemasters are at home. Rather, he comes when housemasters are out of the home, and women are free from household work and duties.
He brings one kind of goods for children, another for women folk, and another for men. He chooses things for children and women. So he has to be very careful about what things to sell. As he passes along the street, he makes a peculiar sound to attract his customers’ attention. The children here and there gather around him and stop him. The hawker generally chooses an hour when the master of the family is away and the women are free from their household work. He hopes thereby to make a good profit.
